Writing is hard, it’s complicated, it’s something only a few people can do! We all have heard these kind of comments whenever we talk or discuss with anyone that we want to start writing. Well today, I’m going to teach you something that’ll change your perspectives forever! So, let’s get started.

First of all, YES, it is hard to write daily and improve daily but it is not something that a very few people can do. You can do it too! The very first thing that you need to keep in mind is that you’ll have to be consistent and that’s exactly along with some other tips that I’ll teach you to do. All the lessons here are taken from the book ‘On Writing Well’, by William Zinsser and the free content provided by #ship30for30.

Tip#1: SIMPLICITY

The key to writing better is ‘SIMPLICITY’. William Zinsser in his book ‘On writing Well’, which is considered as a classic guide for anyone who’s new to writing say that make your sentences simpler and simpler until you feel that the it cannot be simplified further.

Be very clear about what you want to convey and express to your audience. If you’re clear yourself then and then only you’ll be able to express the thought or idea simply.

Tip#2: BE SPECIFIC

In the free pdf by ship30for30, a load of weight is given to specificity. Being specific will give you a strong, engaged audience base. If you write about a more general topic, you’ll get more audience, more reach but if you want to build a loyal audience, target a specific niche.

This series will contain 3 parts, each with two tips. Follow these tips and you’ll be on your way to become a better writer.
