Welcome back!! I hope you have read the Part-1 of this ‘Writing for Beginners’ series. In this part I am going to tell you about the 4A Method, provided in the #ship30for30 free material, let’s get into it.

Tip#3: The 4A Method

  • Actionable (eg: ‘Here’s how you can do______’)
  • Analytical (eg: ‘Here is the data that shows us_____’)
  • Aspirational (eg: ‘Yes, you can do it too!!’)
  • Anthropological (eg: ‘Here’s why you should start investing right now!!’)

Let me give you a little task, pick-up a topic and challenge yourself to pick a direction according to the above A’s. The real challenge is not to write about one topic one time but you have to write about one topic with respect to all the four directions. While writing about the topics, keep in mind the tips discussed in the part-1 of this series. Let’s get down to the last thing to keep in mind and then part-3 is going to be about ‘How to always have new ideas to write about!!

Tip#4: The APPROACH

There are multiple way to approach toward your writing, for eg:

  • ‘How to’ article
  • ‘Lessons’ learned article
  • ‘Mistakes’ article
  • ‘Ways’ article

The list goes on and on, the approach here is simple and the best templates are provided already by Typeshare. For example, the general outline or approach to a ‘How-to’ article will be something like this:

Premise(what are you talking about) :

Step1 (Heading + Details in paragraph) : Step2 (Heading + Details in paragraph) : Step3 (Heading + Details in paragraph)

Conclusion.

Stay Tuned for the next part of ‘Writing better’ series in which I’ll tell you multiple methods which when you use, you will never run out of ideas.
